Cape Point & Peninsula Tour

Overview

Join us on Africa’s premier tour route to the meeting place of the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans at the Cape Point. Sir Francis Drake the explorer, called it “the fairest Cape that we saw in the circumstances of the Globe.”

This tour offers a full and exciting day out. Tour the Peninsula, scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, pass by Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay beachs. The formidable 12 Apostles Peaks rise above the road. Visit the fishing village of Hout Bay, sail to the Seal Island ( optional ) or shop for souvenirs at the craft market at the harbor. Continue over Chapman’s Peak which offers amazing photo opportunities, and onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve home to magnificent ‘fynbos’, many different species of buck and birds, the Cape mountain Zebra, and mischievous Baboons.

On arrival to Cape Point, take the funicular (own account) to the lighthouse to see the meeting of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. A photo stop at the Cape of Good Hope is a ‘must’

We will visit Boulders beach to see the Jackass penguins (own account) before arriving at the naval base of Simons Town, breath taking drive by the Indian Ocean via Fishhoeck, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg, Optional lunch in a local restaurant.

Our last stop of the day at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Thousand kinds of plants, it is one of our heritage sites which has won many Botanical Garden Award , back to your hotel.
